Many digital label printers use UV-curable inkjet inks, again leveraging the instant drying and high-quality results that UV technology provides. These include the type of inks and coatings being used, the speed of the press, the substrates being printed, and the desired print quality. For narrow web printing of labels, where speed and precision are key, modern LED UV systems are increasingly becoming the preferred choice.
